Abstract
This Ministerial Order approves the Regulation of the Institution of Cereals of Mozambique (ICM, IP). This Regulation, consisting of 63 articles divided into six Chapters, regulates the activities of ICM, IP, an institution aimed, namely, to promote the structuring, dynamization and modernization of the value chain of the agricultural commercialization of cereals, legumes and oilseeds with an impact on the development of the agro-industry and on the balance of import and export with national production and consumption, and the management of infrastructure. In addition, ICM, IP is responsible for: promotion and management of alternative financing solutions for the agricultural marketing and rural trade value chain; and promotion, coordination and establishment of strategic reserves of cereals, legumes and oilseeds for food security.
