Abstract
This Ministerial Order approves the Specific Rules for the Health Certification of Fishery Products and Aquatic Animal Feeding. These specific rules establish the hygienic and sanitary requirements for the health certification of fishing products, by-products and derivatives and feed for aquatic animals, to be placed on the market and in transit, including those that are or are not for commercial promotion. These specific rules apply: a) to all fishery products, by-products and derivatives and feed for aquatic animals intended for placement on the domestic and foreign market, including those whether or not intended for commercial promotion; b) to operators throughout the production chain who are dedicated to the commercialization or placing on the market of fishing products, by-products and derivatives and feed used for aquatic animals; c) all fishery products, by-products and derivatives and feed for unsealed and manipulated aquatic animals, in international transit; and d) samples for laboratory analysis. The Competent Authority carries out the health certification of such products for placement on the domestic and foreign market, including those whether or not for commercial promotion and in international transit.
