Resolution No. 11/96 on Fisheries Policy and implementing strategies.

This Resolution approves the Policy on Fisheries and implementing strategies. The above mentioned Policy aims at the improvement of the internal supply of fish products, in order to cover a part of the food deficit of Mozambique, to increase National incomes generated by this sector and to improve as well life conditions of local fishing communities. The Strategy aims also at the improvement of traditional fish processing methods, at the promotion of the use of ice storing techniques, and at the promotion of the commercialisation of fish products.
