Resolution No. 15/2022 approving the Statute of the National Institution of the Sea, IP (INAMAR, IP).

This Resolution approves the Statute of the National Institution of the Sea, IP (INAMAR, IP), aimed at the exercise of maritime authority in the areas of marine and inland jurisdiction and coastal zones, as well as in the domains of security and protection, the planning of maritime space and the maritime public domain of the coastal zone, the inspection of activities in maritime, fluvial and lake areas and in the maritime public domain of the coastal zone, as well as compliance with norms related to the protection of ecosystems. In particular, the sectoral supervision of INAMAR, IP is exercised by the Minister who oversees the areas of the sea and inland waters and includes, namely, the practice of the following acts: a) approve general policies, annual and multi-annual plans, as well as the respective budgets; b) approve the Internal Regulation of INAMAR, IP; c) propose the Staff List for approval by the competent body; d) carry out performance control; e) suspend, revoke or annul, under the terms of the applicable legislation, the acts of the bodies of INAMAR, IP, which are contrary to the law and other normative and management instruments; f) exercise disciplinary power over the members of the bodies of INAMAR, IP, under the terms of the applicable legislation; g) supervise actions of the acts performed by the bodies; h) carry out of inquiries or inquiries to the services of INAMAR, IP; i) appoint the members of the Board of Directors of INAMAR, IP, under the terms of the applicable legislation; etc.
