Abstract
This Act establishes rules to promote sheep breeding in a way that benefits society and maintains ecological balance with available vegetation. It assigns responsibility to the government and municipal supervisory committees to ensure compliance, requires new sheep farmers to meet education or training qualifications, and regulates issues such as animal welfare, protection of nature, fodder cultivation, disease prevention, and veterinary medicine. The Act allows financial support for new farms, generational transfers, fodder, fertilizer, research, and advisory services. It also sets out sanctions for non-compliance, ranging from reprimands and fines to forced sale or loss of usage rights of farms, with valuations made by an appointed board.
