Abstract
This Act amends Act No. 18 on sled dogs and the keeping of dogs and cats. It redefines sled dog districts as covering areas north of the 66th parallel on the west coast, all of North Greenland, and the east coast down to Cape Farewell east of the 44th western meridian. It allows the euthanasia of loose dogs posing a concrete danger without compensation to owners, abolishes a previous provision in §10(3), broadens a restriction on clipping teeth to all teeth (not just molars), and replaces references to the former "Directorate for Environment and Nature, Veterinary Department" and "Landsstyret" with "Naalakkersuisut" (the Government of Greenland).
