Antarctic Act 1994 (Overseas Territories) (Amendment) Order 2017 (No. 779 of 2017).

This Order amends the Antarctic Act 1994 (Overseas Territories) Order 1995 to clarify the circumstances in which a Governor may grant a permit for a non-national on a British expedition to Antarctica to undertake acts that would otherwise be prohibited by sections 7(1), 8(1), 9(1) or 10(1) of the Schedule to the 1995 Order. The Order also clarifies the penalties that will apply to any person guilty of an offence under Part II of the 1995 Order.
