Abstract
This Order prohibits: the collection, storage, distribution or sale of semen of a domestic animal except with and in accordance with a licence granted by the Minster; collection of semen from a male domestic animal for use for artificial insemination unless the animal has been approved for that purpose by the Minister; or use of premises or equipment for storing the semen of domestic animals or employing a method for storing such semen, unless the premises, equipment or method have been approved for that purpose by the Minister.
Notes
Consolidated Edition of RO.94/2008 as at 1 January 2009.Nothing in this Order applies in respect of the semen of cattle.
