Abstract
These Regulations, as regards the territory of Gibraltar, are setting the food safety standards and issues as regards the mandatory heat treatment for cow’s milk deriving food product here defined and named as cream. The text is divided into 7 different sections as follows: Title and Commencement; Interpretation; Exemptions; Heat treatment of cream; Records; Penalties; Application of various sections of the Act.
Rules here stipulated are in relation with necessary physical (thermic and other similar) treatments that are applied in the production and related processing of such products. These regulations shall not apply to any cream which is intended to be exported to any place outside Gibraltar.
Schedules 1-3 are also part of this publication (containing the list of general requirements in connection with the heat treatment of cream; list of special requirements in connection with the heat treatment of cream; sterilization requirements; and sampling and analysis methods).
