Abstract
This Order introduces measures for the prevention of spreading of avian influenza in Jersey. It places restrictions on the importation and exportation of live poultry (i.e. all species of birds) and eggs for hatching. Other measures concern, among other things, the declaration of infected places, cleansing and disinfection, restrictions on movement of poultry and isolation and vaccination. Licences may be required for certain import and export operations.
