Abstract
This Order, made under articles 1, 3, 4, 13, 14 and 42 of the Diseases of Animals (Jersey) Law 1956, regulates the importation of any animal or item from one or more countries as indicated in the Schedule to this Order. Such importation requires a licence granted by the Minister and must be within the exception specified opposite in the fourth column of the Schedule. The Order also concerns measures of enforcement and makes consequential and minor amendments to the Diseases of Animals (Non-Rabies) (Importation of Mammals) (Jersey) Order 2011. Animals or goods, the importation of which is restricted include: embryos, live lobsters, feeding stuffs and fertilizers.
