Abstract
These Regulations are here setting the complete list of provisions and specific classification as regards the entire process of waste management on the territory of Gibraltar.
The complete cycle of waste, including all necessary actions, indicated and/or minimal recycle percentage and related recommendations, measures, values and other possible issues, are object of these Regulations, including the rules for specific types of waste and hazardous waste types. The application of these Regulations is without prejudice to the fact that Gibraltar does not form part of the European Union’s common customs territory and that European Union rules on the free movement of goods do not apply to Gibraltar. The Competent Authority shall carry out appropriate inspections and monitoring to verify the proper implementation of these Regulations.
