Abstract
These Regulations are establishing the environmental protection related rules, here directly intended for the operations of disposal of persistent organic pollutants, under the terms of the national Environmental Protection (Disposal of Dangerous Substances) Act 2000.
This text is divided into 11 Regulations as follows: Title; Interpretation; Operation of the 2004 Regulation; Competent authority; Imports and exports of substances; Holding and monitoring of substances; Inspections; Seizure and retention; Monitoring, reporting and information exchange etc; Offences; Penalties.
