EU Legislation (Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathies) (Jersey) Regulations 2015 (R&O.149/2015).

This Order concerns prevention and control of Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathies in Jersey. They carry into effect the European Union TSE Regulation, i.e. Regulation (EC) No. 999/2001 of the European Parliament and of the Council laying down rules for the prevention, control and eradication of certain transmissible spongiform encephalopathies, as read with (a) Commission Decision 2007/411/EC; (b) Commission Decision 2007/453/EC; and (c) Commission Decision 2009/719/EC. The Regulation provide with respect to: competent authorities; approvals, authorizations and registration; inspections; TSE monitoring; control of animal feed and specified rish material; restrictions on marketing and export of bovine products, bovine parts, bovine animals or products containing specified risk material.
