Abstract
These Regulations consisting of 24 articles regulate the veterinary profession for what concerns (i) provisions related to the licensing and operation of veterinary practices; (ii) necessity for veterinary facilities to adhere to specific operational standards, including the proper storage and sale of medications, as well as maintaining sanitary conditions to prevent pest infestations; (iii) the role of regulatory bodies in monitoring compliance and addressing any infractions that occur within veterinary establishments; (iv) the importance of public health and safety, detailing requirements for waste management and the safe handling of veterinary pharmaceuticals; (v) penalties for violations of veterinary regulations, which may include warnings or temporary suspension of the right to practice.
Entry into force notes
Thiese Regulations shall be enforced mandatorily 180 days after the approval of the Law regulating the Veterinary Profession by the Supreme Council.
