Abstract
This Order of the Minister in specifies the areas that are declared to be protected areas for the purposes of the Fisheries Act 1972. The following activities are prohibited within a protected area: (a) the taking of fish; and (b) the use within a protected area of any anchor other than a Danforth (sand) anchor. Without prejudice to this rule, the taking of fish is prohibited during the period beginning on 1 May and ending on 31 August in any year in specified areas.
