Abstract
This Order provides that, for the purposes of section 1 of the Fishing Ordinance, 1997, the minimum size prescribed in relation to any species specified in the first column of Schedule 1 to this Order is: (a) specified in Annex II (Region 2) of Council Regulation 894/97, as amended; (b) specified in the second column of Part II of Schedule 1, with the applicable method of measurement code for that species being specified in the third column of Schedule. The Order also prohibits the Committee to grant licences for the export of ormers or sandeel taken from within territorial waters or the foreshore. Cultivated ormers may be exported only at certain conditions.
