Abstract
This Order, made under the Food and Drugs (Guernsey) Law, 1970, shall ensure that local beef derived from diseased bovine animals is not released onto the market for sale for human consumption unless it has undergone specified processes to ensure the removal of all material which may be infected with Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy. This Order makes it illegal to sell offer for sale or possess for sale beef which has not been processed in accordance with the requirements of this Order.
