Abstract
These Regulations, as regards the territory of Gibraltar, are setting the food safety standards and issues related to the safe and controlled treatment and trade of foodstuff for human consumption if treated with ionizing radiation (electromagnetic radiation or corpuscular radiation capable of producing ions and emitted from a radio-active substance or from a machine or apparatus that is intended to produce the same, or from a machine or apparatus in which charged particles are accelerated by a voltage of not less than five kilovolts).
