Abstract
These Regulations are establishing the environmental protection related rules in terms of necessary freedom of access to information principle.
This text is divided into 5 main Parts and related sub-sections, as follows: Part 1 (Introductory: Title and commencement; Interpretation; Application;) Part 2 (Access to environmental information held by public authorities: Dissemination of environmental information; Duty to make available environmental information on request; Form and format of information; Extension of time; Charging; Advice and assistance; Transfer of a request; Representations and reconsideration; Part 3 (Exceptions to the duty to disclose environmental information: Exceptions to the duty to disclose environmental information; Personal data; Refusal to disclose information; Ministerial certificates); Part 4 (Appeals and revocation: Appeal to Gibraltar Regulatory Authority; Appeal to magistrates’ court; Revocation); Part 5 (Miscellaneous: Information to be made available in emergencies; Quality of information).
