Implementing Regulation of the Act on fertilizers and soil improvers in the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf.

This Resolution is composed of 15 Chapters divided into 45 articles. Chapter I gives terms and definitions. Chapters II and III classify fertilizers and soil improvers as well as define their requirements and descriptions. Chapters IV and V provide for requirements, conditions and procedures for issuance of licences for the production and processing of fertilizers and soil improvers, as well as for registration. Chapter VI gives packaging rules, divided for simple fertilizers, compound fertilizers and soil improvers. Chapter VII deals with issuance of licences for their production and processing, including modalities for application, certification (phytosanitary and lab analysis). Chapter VIII gives conditions for circulation and storage of fertilizers and soil improvers relating to permits and registration. Chapter IX provides for procedures to achieve advertising permits. Chapters X and XI deal with testing and analyzing procedures and re-analyzing in the case of objection to the results. Chapter XII contains register and registration matters, stating that universities and research centers are excluded from the provisions of this Act. Chapter XIII deals with offences and penalties.
