Abstract
This Act provides for the protection of animals from cruelty, unnecessary pain, overwork, torture and abuse.
The Act provides for penalties for: beating animals in public places; overloading animals; performing any process of introducing air or any substance into the female organ of a milk animal with the object of drawing off from the animal any secretion of milk; possessing the skin of a goat killed with unnecessary cruelty; etc.
The Act further provides for authorized maximum weight to be loaded on animals.
