Abstract
These Regulations are here setting the complete food safety related rules and standards for milk-based drinks in terms of necessary hygiene and heat treatments at various stages of production and processing, storage and transport, sampling and precautionary procedures.
Contents of this text are divided into 10 sections as follows: Title and Commencement (1); Interpretation (2); Meaning of milk-based drink (3); Exemptions (4); Restriction on use of certain words in labelling (5); Application of Schedule 1 (6); Heat treatment of milk-based drink (7); Records (8); Penalties (9); Application of various provisions of the Act (10).
Schedules 1-4 are also part of this publication (full list of technical and procedural issues, sampling and control methods, and several pasteurization treatment related provisions).
