Abstract
These Regulations are here setting the food safety related rules and provisions as regards the prohibition and maximum permitted quantity of mineral hydrocarbons in certain foods and food products on the territory of Gibraltar (here not intended for water, live animals or birds, fodder or feeding stuffs for animals, birds or fish, or articles or substances used only as drugs; not related to export outside of Gibraltar).
Provisions of this text are setting the rule that no person shall use or will be authorized to use any mineral hydrocarbon in the composition or preparation of any food; and that no person shall sell, consign or deliver, or import any food containing any mineral hydrocarbon.
Contents of this text are divided into 10 sections as follows: Title and Commencement (1); Interpretation (2); Exemptions (3); Prohibition of mineral hydrocarbon in food (4); Condemnation of food containing mineral hydrocarbon (5); Penalties (6); Application of various sections of the Act (10).
