Abstract
This Order seeks to protect and care for the conservation and hunting of caribou (Rangifer tarandus). Hunting season is allowed from 15 August to 10 September and distribution of quota is established by KNAPK and KANUKOKA local authorities. Hunting activitiy requires a hunting permit and allowed hunting methods include minimum .222 caliber rifle. It is not permitted to hunt with full- or semi-automatic weapons, nor by flying and land vehicles. Catch may be used for research purposes.
