Order No. 14 on shrimp-fishing licence in 1986.

Abstract
The Order applies to commercial shrimp-fishing licence (in adherence with Act No. 11 of 21 November 1984, in particular article 3) which may be valid up to a year and whereby vessel size requirements adhere to Act No. 203 of 18 May 1977. Vessels measuring less than 80 BRT having fished in 1984 and 1985 shall automatically be granted fishing licence for 1986 without request nor application thereof.
Shrimp-fishing licences include requirement for fishing vessel crew to be at least 70% of its total and consisting of individuals residing in Greenland for at least 2 years having fishery as their main source of income. Licences also include requirement of permitted geographic fishing areas and catch quantity. If fishing quantity has reached a ceiling pre-established by the government, suspension of activities shall be notified by radio and press.
