Order No. 20 on coastal fisheries monitoring.

The Order sets rules on shrimp-fishing (pandalus borealis) and the requirement for the need of a license. The permit may be issued with no time limit and applies to fishing activities carried out by individuals or companies. Their vessels must measure a max of 75GT and must carry a logbook where to register all details of the catch. Catch must be stowed in the vessels in a way that each species can be identified by inspection. Some of these species must be separated from each other, whereby by-catch must be stowed separately and labeled. Once the 80% mark of the yearly quota has been reached, the Greenland Fishery License Control (GFLK) shall require buyers to notify exact place for immediate landing of the catch.
