Order No. 4 on Scallops fishing.

Abstract
This Order applies to commercial fishing for scallops operated in Greenland's fishing territory by individuals and companies with Greenland Fisheries licence of which duration may be maximum of 1 year. The license is issued to individuals who have residence status in Greenland for the past 2 years and that have fishery as their main source of income. License is also authorized to vessels which crew consists of min. 70% of these afore-mentioned individuals.
Vessel size regulations are implemented in adherence to Act No. 203 of 13 May 1977 on vessel measurement. For vessels over 50 GT, there shall be a total allowable catch quantity and determined by geographic area and fishing period. Vessels measuring min. 80 GT shall not be authorized to scallops-fishing in an area between the coast and a line that located 3 miles outside of the territory in adherence to Orders No. 629 of 22 December 1976 and No. 176 of 14 May 1980.
Registration of data should be entered in the vessels' logbook.
