Abstract
This Order places controls and restrictions on the importation of trees and part of trees, and in particular the bark of trees in order to prevent the introduction in Guernsey of Dutch Elm disease. Certain varieties of trees may only be imported with a licence of the Committee for Horticulture. Bark from elm is prohibited and Elm trees may only be imported stripped of its bark and disinfected.
