Protection of Birds Amendment Act 2015 (No. 12 of 2015).

This Act amends the Protection of Birds Act in sections 1 (definitions), 3 (places for the rehabilitation of birds), 4 (authorization of control or destruction of birds), and 7 (penalties). It also insert new section (4A), which gives the Minister the power to amend the Schedule. The Schedule is also inserted by this Act and specifies birds that are pest birds for the purposes of this Act. In addition a new section (6A) is inserted which declares obstruction of authorized officers an offence.
