Regulation No. 25 on calculation methods for the reporting of certain catches.

This Greenland Home Rule regulation sets out methods for calculating and reporting certain fish catches. It applies to Greenlandic vessels licensed to fish both within and outside Greenland’s fishing territory, foreign vessels licensed to fish in Greenlandic waters, and vessels producing fishmeal. The regulation defines “whole fish” and “conversion factors,” requiring that catches reported to the Greenland Fisheries License Control (GFLK) use the specified conversion factors listed in its annex. If a product type is not covered, GFLK determines the appropriate factor. Violations, such as failing to use the correct factors, may result in fines or license withdrawal, including corporate liability.
