Restricted Fishing Areas Order 1997 (G.S.I. No. 28 of 1997).

This Order places, for purposes of the Fishing Ordinance, 1997, restrictions on fishing in controlled waters as defined in the Schedule to this Order. The restrictions concern trawling with boats during certain periods of the year, use a boat carrying a beam trawl or more than one beam trawls of more than eight metres within the territorial waters for the purpose of fishing for any species of fish and use of nets to catch crawfish.
