Abstract
These Regulations prescribe the requirement to keep a logbook on board of a British fishing boat or a Community fishing boat measuring 10 metres or more in overall length within the seaward limits of the territorial sea of Jersey. They set out requirements to keep log books and declarations in electronic format. The master shall ensure that the fishing boat does not leave port without there being on board a fully operational electronic recording and reporting system. The Regulations also concern reporting in the event of a technical failure or non-functioning of the electronic recording and reporting system on a fishing boat.
