Abstract
This Law amends the Shipping (Jersey) Law 2002 in relation with use of flags, the discretionary power of the Minister, having regard to the interests of Jersey or the interests of international shipping, to order refusal or termination of registration of a ship and the power of The States to make, by Regulations, such provision as they consider necessary to give effect in Jersey to any international agreements ratified by the United Kingdom on behalf of Jersey that relate to the prevention, reduction or control of pollution from ships.
