The Bauchi State Budget Monitoring, Price Intelligence and Public Procurement Agency Law.

This Law provides for: establishing the Bauchi State Budget Monitoring, Price Intelligence and Public Procurement Agency; harmonising the existing government Policies and practices on public procurement; training personnel for a sustainable and efficient public procurement system; defining fair pricing standard and benchmarks in the procurement and disposal of public assets and services. The Law applies to all procurement and disposal of good, works and services carried out by the Bauchi State Government, its ministries, departments, authorities, agencies. The Law concerns: definition of procurement of works and services, including: sanitation, sewage and supply systems, energy and electrification facilities; functions and powers of the Agency; funds of the Agency; principles inspiring public procurement; public-private partnership; administrative review and complaints by bidders; offences and penalties for violations and misconduct, including corruption.
