Milk and Dairy Products Regulations 2005.

These Regulations prohibit the manufacture, importation, exportation, advertisement, sale or distribution of milk or dairy products in Nigeria unless the products have been registered in accordance with the provisions of these Regulations and the manufacture, importation, exportation and advertisement of milk or dairy products require approval from the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control. In addition, the Regulations set standards for milk and dairy products, define labelling and product traceability requirements, define offences and prescribe penalties for such offence.
