Public Health Rules, Legal Notice no. 47 of 1951.

This Rules concern: notification of infectious diseases; role of sanitary and health inspectors in dealing with infectious diseases; measures to prevent the spread of infectious disease, and targeted measures against rats and mice concerning plague; measures and restrictions regarding slaughtering and specific fees for each kind of animal, including sheep, goat, cattle and swine; quality of meat for human consumption; sanitation measures for any public premises; disposal of waste and quality of water supplied; animal health and animal welfare specific measures; list of infectious diseases in animals; disinfection of infected premises; general offences and penalties.
