Wild Animals Preservation (Licences) Regulations, no. 12 of 1916.

These Regulations, made under section 23 of the Law, concern licences issued by any Local Government Secretary, officer, Magistrate or officer of the Forestry Division of the Ministry of Agriculture. The Regulations cover the following matters: special licence to kill rhinoceros or eland; game register; marking of ivory and relating penalties; prohibited acts, including: firing at any prohibited or protected animal or bird or game, using any kind of poison for the purpose of killing protected animals; using any game pit, net or trap for the purpose of killing or capturing any protected animal; hunting protected animals with dogs.
