Abstract
The Act provides rules relative to the placing on the market of animal feed, its contents and presentation.
The Act consists of 51 articles divided into 13 Chapters: General provisions (I); Form of animal feedstuffs (II); Additives and feed proteins (III); Recognition and registration of producers and intermediaries (IV); Importation and exportation (V); Supervision and control (VI); Samples and methods of analysis (VII); Retributions (VIII); Measures of enforcement (XI); Further provisions (X); Amendments of other Acts (X); Final provisions (XI).
Article 1 contains definitions. Article 2 prescribes general requirements regarding feed that may be placed on the Dutch market. Article 3 empowers the Minister to prohibit transport or placing on the market of specified feed.
