Act No. 647 of 1996 amending the Groundwater Act.

The provisions of the principal Act which are amended concern the following matters: The prohibition to abstract groundwater (art. 15a); the applicability of certain provisions of the Environment Protection Act on the granting or modification of licences to abstract groundwater or to recharge groundwater (art. 30); compensation of damages as a result of withdrawal or modification of the licence by provincial authorities (art. 41); charges on groundwater abstraction (art. 48).
