Abstract
This Decree provides for the establishment of the Commission of Biotechnology Animals, its composition, its duties and powers, its work procedures and the procedures to follow in making decisions on the applications for permits, pursuant to article 66 of the Act Concerning Well-being and Health of Animals. The Decree was drafted bearing in mind the constant evolution of biotechnoly and ethics regarding the use of biotechnology. The Commission, which consists of specialists in the field of biotechnology, shall advise the Minister. (16 articles)
