Abstract
This Decree exempts animals listed in Schedule 1 to this Decree and other specified categories of animals from prohibitions laid down in sections 8, 9, 11 and 13 of the Flora and Fauna Act. The provisions of this Decree laid down in Chapter II (exemptions) do not apply to animals listed in Council Regulation (EEC) No. 338/97 on the protection of species of wild fauna and flora by regulating trade therein. Chapter III concerns the indication of places where protected animal or plant species shall be imported into the Netherlands in implementation of article 12 of Council Directive 338/97. In addition, power is given to the Minister to regulate the keeping of records and communication of data relative to possession, receipt, sale, keeping in stock for sale, and delivery of plants or animals (not defined) or products of those plants and animals.
