Abstract
This Regulation, based on articles 1A, third paragraph, and 3.6 of the Decree of 2 November 2012 containing rules with regard to animal products (Animal Products Decree), provides for measures concerning animal products intended for human consumption and applies to food business operators, indicated in the European Union Legislation. The Regulation concerns: meat inspection; prohibited activities during slaughtering; re-inspection conducted by official veterinarians; quality of foodstuffs of animal origin; chicken carcasses; cow's milk; laying hen; protection of quality marking of dairy products, eggs and poultry meat, before placing a product on the market; quality regulations for cheese; measures for keeping chickens taking into account their welfare and care; determination of fat and protein content of dairy products; demonstration of the presence of antibiotic residues; animal products not intended for human consumption; indication of animal by-products, including products of bees and beekeeping; issuance of health certificate; transport of animal by-products; prohibitions concerning organic waste.
