Abstract
Act relative to the prevention of spreading of wild oats. "Wild oats" is defined in section 1 as all corn species growing spontaneously and possessing specified characteristics. Its shall be prohibited to sell or otherwise dispose of plants or parts of plants defined by this Act as "wild oats" except for research and educational purposes (sect. 1). Regulation making powers of the Crown are defined in section 2. Section 3 introduces a duty to notify authorities of occurrence of wild oats on land by owners. (10 sections)
