Abstract
The scope of this public body to be established by the King shall be to protect national environmental values and to prevent environment-related crimes (sect. 1). The Agency shall carry out control tasks pursuant to various Acts listed in section 2 including the Nature protection Act of 1970, the Wildlife Act of 1981 and the Act relative to fishing for salmon and in inland waters of 1992. The Department of Environmental Affairs may confer other task upon the Agency. The Department shall also be responsible for the correct implementation of the provisions of the present Act.
