Abstract
Without a permit of the King it shall be prohibited to fish with trawling gear. Such permit can be given to a Norwegian citizen or such persons as are equalled with Norwegian citizens pursuant to Act No. 19 of 1966. Permits shall be given only in respect of a specified fishing vessel. The Act does not apply to fishing with trawl for shrimps. The Government may issue rules relative to applications for permits, criteria for granting permits and conditions attached to permits. (4 sections)
