Abstract
This Decree prohibits the fishing for queen scallops in selected areas of the Fisheries Protection Zone of Svalbard and to catch scallops of a size inferior to 60 mm. By-catch may be 10 percent of the total catch of all crustacean after selection at the sorting grid aboard the vessel. The Directorate of Fisheries may exempt vessels from territorial restrictions and order biological sampling for scientific purposes and require notification regarding visited fishing areas.
