Decree No. 1200 of 1985 relative the granting of licences for farming of salmon and trout for human consumption in marine waters.

This Decree regulates the granting of licences for installations for the farming of salmon and trout for purposes of human consumption; section 2 outlines the procedures of application for a licence. Applications shall be submitted to the local Fisheries Council through the local Fisheries Chief. No licences shall be given to farming installation with a volume in excess of eight thousand cubic metres. Section 5 establishes the criteria for the granting of licences. No licences shall be given for proposed installations which are not conform sections 5 and 6, third comma, of the Fish Breeding Act of 1985. (7 sections)
