Abstract
This Decree specifies criteria for participation in fishing for coalfish by vessels between 13 and 27,5 meters of total length (other than for additional length for security reasons) and which fish with seine north of the 62nd parallel for the year 2006. Section 1 outlines general conditions for participation. Criteria regard registration as vessel of under 27,5 meters of total length, inclusion in the Fishermen Census, Part B, by the owner of the vessel and the captain, and proper outfitting for seine fishing of the applying vessel. The Decree provides also for fishing rights in the case of transfer of the vessel (sale or lease) or decease of the owner of the vessel. (9 sections)
