Abstract
This Decree specifies for the year 2006 criteria for participation in fishing for cod, haddock and coalfish and other specified fish species by vessels over 28 metres of total length and which fish with other methods as seine and trawl. Section 2 outlines general conditions for participation. Criteria regard registration as vessel of over 28 metres of total length, inclusion in the Fishermen Census, Part B, by the owner of the vessel and the captain, and previous participation by the applying vessel in the year 2005. The Decree provides also for fishing rights in the case of transfer or lease of the vessel. (9 sections)
